About this project
At 469 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, we were engaged to resolve persistent water ingress affecting both the basement and terrace levels of a multi-residential building. Following detailed inspections and testing, the source of the issue was traced to failed waterproofing at construction joints, saturated landscaping above, and inadequate drainage infrastructure.
We delivered a staged remediation approach that included rectifying terrace interfaces, sealing structural joints, repairing soffit damage, and addressing water entry around basement penetrations. All works were carefully coordinated to avoid disruption to residents and maintain the integrity of the existing finishes.
The project successfully restored the building’s water-tightness and addressed long-standing maintenance concerns. It demonstrates our expertise in diagnosing and delivering practical, durable solutions to complex waterproofing and structural challenges in occupied buildings.
